Mr. Andy Hale - Headteacher
Welcome to Maidensbridge Primary School! Having been the Headteacher here at Maidensbridge for 13 years, I can honestly say that I am proud to be the Head of a school with such wonderful pupils, caring and hard-working staff and very supportive parents and governors. Maidensbridge is a GOOD school, with many qualities and good results. In the Summer of 2017 we were judged by OfSTED to be a GOOD school yet again and indeed this was followed up by a fantastic set of end of year results by our Year 6 pupils! (Good luck at your new schools Year 6 2017). 2016-17 was certainly a really good year and we are looking forward to building upon our successes even further this year.
We always strive to do even better and we are constantly looking at how we can improve provision and outcomes for our children. We have a strong belief in a rounded education for our pupils, giving pupils the opportunities to experience an exciting and broad education, focussing on developing the individual. We work hard to ensure that our children progress well in the key subjects but Maidensbridge children and parents always speak glowingly about how varied and interesting the curriculum is. We make sure that all subjects are valued and we make sure that we avoid a narrow focus on just English and Maths, whilst still ensuring that we teach well in those vitally important areas of learning.
