Welcome toMaidensbridge Primary SchoolLearning & Achieving Through Experience & Enjoyment

Black Country Children's University

Maidensbridge Primary School is part of the Black Country Children's University which is an organisation supported in the Black Country by the University of Wolverhampton.

In a recent article in the Sunday Times, the Children's University (CU) was described as 'The University of Fun'. It is a critically acclaimed, extra-curricular programme which takes education far beyond the confines of the classroom. The CU aims to ignite children's passion for learning , to raise their aspirations, to build self-confidence and to demonstrate the real-world relevance of subjects studied at school.

We share the values of the Children's University at Maidensbridge Primary School and we are both proud and delighted to be part of it.

We will launch the CU to our first undergraduates in June 2015 and plan introduce other year groups in January 2017.

Our next Children's University Graduation is being planned for December 2017.
