Maidensbridge athletes produce personal bests on the track

Our athletes took to the track to compete in the Tipton Harriers Summer Series event at The Tipton Sports Academy.

Representing the school, the children were competing against seasoned club athletes from Tipton Harriers, Birchfield Harriers and Wolverhampton and Bilston.

In the 75m, Keira produced a personal best performance in running 12.0s. This was shortly followed by Brooke producing a time of 12.87 in her first track race. James ran against a number of older athletes in setting a new mark over 100m of 13.98s.

In the 150m, Jayden ran 23.12 in his first ever track race. Moving up to the 600m, Kian and Will worked hard to run 2:01 and 2:06 respectively. Things are going well as we look forward to the Dudley Primary Athletics Championships and The Wenlock Olympian Games in July.
