Maidensbridge pupils represent Dudley in Cross-country

Three of our pupils represented Dudley in cross-country today as they took on teams form Wolverhampton and Walsall in the Black Country Cross-country Championships at Tettenhall College.

Alex, James and Kian had qualified to represent Dudley due to their brilliant top 20 finishes in their respective races at the Dudley Primary Championships in March.

All three of them ran well in what turned out to be very untypical cross-country conditions due to the dry flat ground and the warm dry weather. In the girls race, Alex came 35th and in the boys race, Kian came 10th and James finished 36th.

All three helped Dudley to a first place tie with Wolverhampton in the girls' team competition and second in the boys team competition. Well done to all three!
